Frequently asked questions

Are there any seams in your neck gaiters?

No. Our neck gaiters are made from tubular fabric that’s knitted as a continuous tube, so there are no side seams at all—making them extremely comfortable to wear. We also leave the ends unsewn by default, because a sewn hem wouldn’t stretch the same way as the fabric and could feel tight or uncomfortable when worn.

Can you do a mockup of my design before I place an order?

Yes — and it's included with every order at no extra cost. Once your order is placed, our in-house design team gets to work straight away. We'll lay out your artwork, build a full-color digital proof of your neck gaiter, and send it through our online proofing system for your review. You can request changes, and we won't print a single gaiter until you've signed off on the design.

What we can't do is produce custom mockups or design work before an order is confirmed. Given our 5-day turnaround, the proof process is built directly into production — it's not a separate preview service we can offer upfront. We know that's not always what people want to hear, but it's also how we keep design help free for every customer who does place an order.

If you don't have print-ready artwork, that's completely fine — send us whatever you have (a logo file, a rough idea, even a sketch) and we'll work with it.

What is the UV-rating for your neck gaiters?

Our Premium Neck Gaiter is rated UPF 50+. (For fabrics, the correct term is UPF – Ultraviolet Protection Factor, not SPF, which is used for sunscreens.) A UPF 50+ rating means the fabric blocks 98%+ of UVA/UVB when worn as intended.
This UPF performance applies specifically to the Premium Neck Gaiter, which is made with a dense knit structure using 95% polyester / 5% spandex. Because the UV protection comes from the fabric’s construction (not a chemical coating), it doesn’t “wash out” on a fixed timeline. Protection remains consistent as long as the fabric maintains its density and isn’t worn thin.

How long does the UV protection last?

For continuous use, you’ll want to replace gaiters when they show physical wear—e.g., the fabric starts looking sheer when stretched, there’s noticeable thinning/abrasion or heavy pilling, or the fit becomes loose from stretched-out elasticity. Also note that UPF can be reduced if the fabric is stretched very tight or becomes wet, so proper fit and avoiding over-stretching helps maintain maximum protection.

How should I wash my custom neck gaiter to keep the print looking sharp?

To keep your gear looking fresh, we recommend machine washing cold with similar colors. Skip the bleach and fabric softeners to keep that stretch perfectly snappy. Our HD full-color print is fused into the fabric, meaning it won’t crack or peel even after a long weekend on the trails or out at the lake. Air dry is best, but a low-heat tumble dry works too!
